Which way is chosen to leave? qUIT sMOKING

There are so many sites today offer numerous ways to quit smoking, many of the same or similar, some of them quite different. Today hotline 1-800-QuitNow government is receiving a record number of calls. From 2004 to 2010, the total number of calls received was just under three million. So far this year 2011, there were more than six hundred thousand additional calls! Of course, more Americans than ever are looking for a way to end their habit / addiction to smoking cigarettes, and once and for all, stop smoking.

To quit smoking, smoking cessation, in fact, you should find the right solution for your problem. Many people try to quit smoking using the nicotine patch. The theory is that the nicotine patch is used, and nicotine slowly withdrawn using increasingly less nicotine patches in the end, the desire to smoke is gone. Hypnotists have for decades been taking money from those who believe that smoking cessation hypnosis program will help them once and for all stop. However, after having been a clinical hypnotherapist in perhaps the oldest and largest clinical hypnosis in the US, I can tell you that although I believe that hypnosis should be a part of a successful campaign to stop smoking, most hypnotists do not know how to properly use hypnosis to get their clients to quit smoking. Thus, the end result is that the use of a hypnosis program to stop smoking is rarely successful in the long term.

In fact, Kerry Packer, who was, until his death in 2005, the richest man in Australia is described and one of the world's billionaires, who paid Marshall Sylver, a renowned hypnotist world, $ 100,000 for a single hypnosis session to help you stop smoking. But four years later, after joining three other kids my age in my new school, and expensive wish to become a part of your "band", I thought I had to become a smoker as they were. I clearly remember wondering what I call the "fundamental question". I remember where I was and what I felt. The question was: "Do I really want to be a smoker?" Of course, after little consideration, I said, "Yes!" It took only a couple of days before I was smoking like my new friends, blowing smoke rings and "looking cool".

I, like most smokers I interviewed over the years of my work as a coach quit smoking, started smoking for three main reasons. they are

1) If only the adults smoke and smoke I, which seem to be more mature, more "adult aspect." But that was true for younger than mine. For true adults, it just seemed like a silly little boy trying to look older.

2) My friends are doing, and if I want to be more like my friends, I'll start smoking like them. Then it will be accepted by them. I do not think I really gave more or less I would have accepted had opted not to become a smoker, but that was my thinking at the time.

3) Smoking is attractive. In the movies, I saw James Dean, Humphrey Bogart, Elizabeth Taylor and many other smoking sex symbols smoking and look "sexy and cool". I wanted to be like them; to be more sexually attractive. After all, John Wayne was cigarette advertising on television. If "El Duque" said it was the thing to do, who was I to believe otherwise. And add to that, all single adults in my family smokes. (And, except for my mother, who died in a car accident at 43, all snuff associated with cancer died.) Once the smoke was just a right of passage to adulthood in my life during the fifties.

So let's review. I chose to smoke cigarettes look more mature. I attached the behavior of my sense of maturity. I chose to smoke cigarettes to be close friends, plus they have accepted. I attached the behavior of my sense of social acceptance. I chose to smoke cigarettes to appear more sexually attractive. I attached the behavior to my sense of sexuality. And I did these three things in perhaps the most critical point in the development of me; while I was riding my inner self-image. I was deciding who and how I was in the world, what are my values, and how they behave in the future. One facet of this picture was ... it was and would continue to be a cigarette smoker.

When I finally woke up to the reality that smoking was an absurd thing, expensive and antisocial just over a decade later, I discovered that I could not just simply stop taking this decision. I could not stop using all the willpower I had. I stopped for another five years.

But I made another critical issue, then nearly thirty years. This seemed silly, even for me at that time. But I asked myself seriously, and began searching for the answer. That question was: "How can I stop smoking, quit smoking forever, and still not refuse a cigarette smoke when I want one?"

Eventually, I found the answer, in fact many of them. I developed a process for me where I could smoke each cigarette he wanted, and saw me, step by step, day by day, week by week, losing the desire to smoke. I have no desire for another cigarette ever, something that anyone who has quit cold turkey can honestly say today. I have successfully de-hypnotized to be a smoker. I'm wide awake for smoking is and does to the human body.

What I discovered along the way it was. Smoking is not the real problem. The problem is the desire to smoke. This desire is the essence dependence of each smoker. To quit smoking, quit smoking forever, really, you have to deal with this critical issue. You should not lose the desire to smoke. Then cigarettes are gone forever.

We can not change the past but we can change the way we remember and how these memories affect our lives today.

To quit smoking, you do not need to try to focus on the symptom of the problem, smoking. To exit, you must work on the subject of driving symptoms, the urge to smoke. Once incredibly strong hypnotic suggestion implanted in their psyche for many years is removed, symptoms, smoking, is gone forever.
